Dear Seva Supporter,

Happy New Year!

2016 was an amazing year for Seva Canada, our overseas partners and the people we serve. We couldn’t have done it without your incredible generosity.

Thanks to your support:

  • 50,167 people received life-changing cataract surgeries, restoring their sight as well as their dignity, productivity and independence.
  • 1,056,470 people benefited from accessible eye care services in some of the most remote and under-served areas in the world.

On behalf of the more than 1 million people you have helped this year, thank you so much for your support and for being part of the Seva Canada family.

We ended 2016 with a special matching campaign to help the 1.4 million children worldwide who suffer from blindness. The Seva community gave generously – please watch our video to see how your gifts will give the power of sight to kids in need.

Every single gift we received last year made a difference - whether you provided prescription glasses, cataract surgeries, community eye screenings, supported training eye care workers, or left it to us to determine where the need was greatest.

To read more about what Seva donors accomplished last year, please see our annual report

Thank you once again for supporting Seva Canada and our efforts to eliminate preventable and treatable blindness. Your generosity makes it all possible.

Sincerely,
Penny Lyons
Executive Director

Thank You, Seva, Seva Canada
