Globally, the majority of the people who are blind are women and girls because of the socioeconomic and cultural barriers they face accessing care. Together we have provided the power of sight to hundreds of thousands of women and girls around the world. But the battle against gender inequity continues. Join us in ensuring women and girls get the treatment they need and deserve.

In honour of International Women's Day, Seva Canada is launching a new campaign focused on ensuring women and girls have an equal right to sight.

Watch our new video, Equal Right to Sight:

While we haven't achieved gender equity in eye care yet, with the support of our donors, we have made significant progress and provided a model for how to provide broader health care equity for women and girls.
