Fathers around the world work hard to ensure the health and happiness of their children. Telolahy, a poor farmer in rural Madagascar, is no exception.

When his three sons – Jeremy (age 7), Elysé (age 5) and Marcello (age 4) – were very little, Telolahy noticed abnormalities in their vision. He consulted the local doctor who told him there was no trace of visual impairment.

Over the years, the boys’ vision got worse. Telolahy consulted the doctor many more times but was told there was no remedy for their declining vision.

When a Seva-sponsored eye camp came to town, he took the boys for a second opinion, where they were each diagnosed with bilateral cataracts. Telolahy was elated when he was told their vision could be restored with surgery.

Thanks to the generosity of Seva donors like you, the boys each had cataract surgery, restoring their sight and their chances to fulfill their dreams.

Telolahy's huge smile expressed his happiness - his boys could finally play with friends, go to school and lead normal lives.
