This project is studying the impact of a training program, led by the PRASHO institute in Hyderabad, designed to help eye care workers in India and Nepal to do their own research and solve problems in local eye care services. Over three years, 10 hospitals will take part in workshops, mentoring, and hands-on research training. The goal is to help the hospital teams to collect, analyse, and use health services evidence to improve patient care. The program is expected to result in stronger research skills, published studies, and better ways of delivering eye care. Overall, the program aims to improve eye health services in low- and middle-income countries by teaching staff how to find and fix local challenges.
